Columbian Squires Port Coquitlam Circle #2937

The Columbian Squires-Port Coquitlam Circle #2937 has been a part of Our Lady of the Assumption parish for more than 27 years. Since the early eighties the Squires Circle has provided opportunities for our young men to serve the church and community.

The Columbian Squires is a leadership training program sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The membership is made of Catholic young men from the ages of 11 to 18. The programming is arranged into four aspects: Spriritual Development, Circle Improvement, Service to the church and community, and Membership Recruitment. The program is centered upon the motto “Esto Dignus”—Be Worthy.

Squires members are responsible for their own programming and activities, organized by their own board of elected officers.

The Port Coquitlam Circle is most visible in our monthly sharing of the coffee & doughnuts service and participates in the annual Fall Fair and Port Coquitlam’s Canada Day Celebrations. The Circle meets on the second and fourth Mondays of every month in the KoC Hall. Come and join us.
