Is inviting new men and women to join us. No previous choir experience is necessary only the ability to carry a tune is required. Practices are on Wednesday evenings at 8:00pm. Also, men interested in joining the Schola Cantorum that also sings at the 11am Sunday Mass are welcome. Anyone interested please visit Peter Mulholland in the choir loft after the 11am Sunday Mass.
Musicians play an essential role in our liturgical celebrations. All of the choirs welcome new members. We have four choirs in the parish.

Liturgy & Music: Archbishop Miller, just this past September, has issued new guidelines for Liturgy & Music for Catholic schools & parishes. Workshops for school teachers and parish musicians are ongoing. The Archbishop desires a sense of uniformity (“all on the same page”) in how Mass is celebrated in the Archdiocese by having a standard diocesan musical settings (the ICEL version has been chosen- the format already sung here at Assumption) and that all parishes recapture the sense of the sacred at Mass.
